GSI Media Training Session 1

Want to do media interviews on climate change, but not sure you are ready?

The University gets a lot of media requests on climate change, and our goal is to get new faces in the media. As a member of the GSI community, you already know enough about climate change science and its implications to tell the media about it and empower people to act.

Event details

The University gets a lot of media requests on climate change, and our goal is to get new faces in the media. The world needs more people like you to provide informed, critical views on the latest science, technology and policy. As a member of the GSI community, you already know enough about climate change science and its implications to tell the media about it and empower people to act.

This new interactive, hands-on seminar series is run in collaboration with Alex Morrison, Press Officer at the University. Alex will share tips on how to handle media interviews on a wide range of climate topics - including those that you might not be an expert on. You will be given opportunities to do actual interviews with the media, and we will train you and support you through this process.

This series is open to students and academics of all levels.
